Family Support Services Inc. believes children matter. That’s why we’ve been creating Philadelphia-area programs that meet the needs of young children since 1976.

Through early intervention services, prenatal infant health support, parenting education and support programs, and school-based childcare Family Support Services’ (FSS) programs help about 1996 children and their parents today.

Helping them today will make their lives more successful tomorrow.

FSS is a program-driven agency. We build programs that address children’s needs and parenting problems early. By delivering key services to children now, we believe we can help them achieve better futures.

Our Mission
Family Support Services' mission is to advance the healthy development of young children by strengthening the capacity of families to nurture them.

Our Focus and Philosophy
Family Support Services uses education and social support to identify and treat the needs of children, birth to age five, who are at risk of child abuse or neglect or who have been identified with developmental delays. FSS believes that all families with young children can use support and offers high quality school-based childcare for working parents in seven elementary schools.

All our programs use education as a way to build self-esteem and family capacity. By teaching new skills we strengthen parents and children, and impact the entire family.
