Welcome to the Family Support Services (FSS) website.

FSS is a non-profit social services agency. We offer Child Welfare, Early Intervention, and suburban School-based Childcare programs in Philadelphia and Delaware County.

Our focus is on very young children because we believe that parenting education and early intervention programs will have the greatest positive long-term impact on birth-to-five year-old children and their families.

Our goal has always been to reduce child neglect and abuse, and to ensure that children are successful in school. We work to improve parenting skills, teach child development and enhance families’ ability to love, care for, and safely raise their children.

We are passionate about identifying and addressing developmental delays early – so children can be successful later. We work to make sure that children get the kind of therapy, health support, or caring and educational supervision they need in order to fulfill their promise as adults.

We understand that working parents need support too, so we have developed before-and-after-school programs for elementary school children in the Haverford and Radnor School Districts.

We build the future by investing in young children - one child at a time. Last year we served 1957 children and their parents.
